The Black Queen of England
England's first black queen, mother of the black prince. Queen Phillipa was no only the first British black queen, but a woman no one really talks about or really know. Philippa was the daughter of William of Hainault, Who at that time was a Lord. He and the King of England, Edward II that their children would be marred, the future Edward III. Described as a woman with brown & black uncombed hair, and deep brown eyes this woman would later rule a country as the first black queen of England. When she was 15, they married and were crowned King and Queen in 1330, then became pregnant with her first child and only 17. Philippa was a remarkable woman. She was very wise and was known and loved by the English for her kindliness and restraint. It is unknown when Queen Phillipa died, but it is awesome to know she was black and all things are possible. Long live the Queen...

Bible Quote for the Day
I love you, Lord;
you are my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
and my place of safety.
-Psalm 18:1-2

Lady Gaga x Supreme
How crazy bad ass is it to have @LadyGaga reppin' your brand? @Supreme_NYC got just that! Shot by the world renown Terry Richardson. With shots like Gaga clenching a $20,000 white Hermés Birkin bag in her teeth with the Supreme brand logo sticker slapped on the front of it, the level of fierceness for the campaign shoots out the roof.

Spring is on the way!
At 7:30am Chuck the groundhog came out of his solar panel home held by Mayor Bloomberg and Hooray he didn't see his shadow. Which means winter will begin to recede and the next six weeks -- at which point spring arrives -- will be milder. Ha Ha Mother you lose this BATTLE!

Happy Black History Month!
Happy Black History Month! The brush is the one thing woman around the world could not imagine to go day to day without. An African American named Lydia O. Newman who is also a New Yorker patented the brush in 1898 on November 15th. Her invention allowed easy cleaning by having an detachable unit that carried the brush and bristles. Thank God for the Brush cause Lord knows I use it every day, Thank you Lydia O. Newman!

Dark Chocolate for Valentine's day!
Why is Dark chocolate better for you than Milk or white chocolate? Dark Chocolate is an antioxidant that helps defend against heart disease and other ailments. Now I'm not saying go out and buy a pound of Dark Chocolate but have it in moderation, instead of having white or milk or white have dark; and the darker the chocolate the MUCH better it is for you. I suggest Ghirardelli's dark chocolate with rasberry filling squares. The squares are perfect for a snack and taste amazing even though dark chocolate taste yucky! So when your BF or Hubby wants to get you chocolate remind him to get Dark chocolate it could save your life.
