Wanless, who is single and lives with his mother and father on the family's 320-acre ranch near Mission, said he's going to buy himself a bigger spread, repay the kindness other townspeople have shown his family and spend his newfound fortune wisely. He also said "I want to thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity and blessing me with this great fortune. I will not squander it" Dreams do come true!

Tree grows in a man's Lung
Doctors in the Urals region of Russia were amazed when they found a fir tree growing inside the patient's lung. The doctors removed Surgeons made the discovery when they were doing a biopsy on the 28-year-old man, Artyom Sidorki. He had complained to doctors of having extreme pains in his chest, and had also been coughing up blood.His doctors suspected Artyom had cancer. That's when they decided to perform the biopsy procedure to make sure.But they never imagined seeing a small spruce growing inside the lung tissue. One of the surgeons, Vladimir Kamashev, says, "I blinked three times and thought I was seeing things." Doctors are convinced the man had somehow inhaled a seed, which began to succesfully grow inside his lung.

It all went down Yesterday as Barack H. Obama was swore in as the 44th President of the United Ststes and there wasn't a dry eye in the house whether it be in D.C or in you living room as you watched it!

After a few states officially gave their votes in their respective speechs, Sen. Hillary Clinton spoke over a cheerfully thunderous for NY and moved to suspend the roll call vote and officially name Sen. Obama the Democratic Nominee. And so we have it. History is made and it’s still not over. Now that’s fabulous.

Karl Lagerfeld’s New Bag Line!
Karl Lagerfeld has a new bag line launching in spring 2009, and we scored the first line sheets for you to preview before they launch (oh, bless Market Week). The collection took a year to develop, and the Kaiser himself approved each of the 42 designs. And you know what we found? Laptop cases! Which is funny, because last we heard, Karl said he didn't even know how to use a computer: "I don't use a computer; I do research with my brain. And if I want or need to — I get people to do it for me.” For a man who is notorious for being a technophobe (well, he does have that iPod nanny), this seems like quite a jump into unknown territory.
But why should that stop him from making chic cases for us common folk? Of course, the press release doesn't name technology as inspiration, rather the line is "inspired by the designer’s passion for modern architecture and photography, and especially by his spirited lifestyle and iconic personality." But that's close enough! There are quite a few slim totes in the collection, perfect for commuting with a laptop in style (probably made with his assistants in mind). There are also bags with grommets (inspired by the grommets on his glove), bags with leather-covered chain handles (inspired by the chain he wears), and bags with sunglass lenses beneath the handles (inspired by his shades). Buyers are confirming orders this week, but come spring, expect to see these available in high-end department stores for $595 to $3,000. We're especially taken with the slim satchel featuring his handles cut out in the shape of his sunglasses, appropriately named "Idol" (but sadly not pictured). Check out more after the jump.
Christian Siriano’s Collection Debuts on Bluefly
Today Christian Siriano's Project Runway prize comes to fruition. His collection for Bluefly.com went on sale, and it looks like a few pieces have already sold out! In a video about the line he says it's inspired by "some signature things" he showed in his final collection for Fashion Week "but obviously not as whoa." The collection consists of only seven pieces in black and gold. ("Don't you love the gold? It's like tranny Klum on a budget! Oh my God, it's fabulous!" Christian exclaims in the video.) And it's not cheap — prices for the remaining pieces average $500. But are the clothes as fabulous as he thinks the tranny-Klum gold fabric is? Check out the photos for yourselves.
